Our vacation--Part 2

On Tuesday, we loaded up the car (yet again) and boarded a ferry to go out to Fort Fisher on an island near Southport, NC. Our destination was the aquarium, another activity that Natalee has really looked forward to experiencing. It was fun, but her biggest excitement was to find Nemo. I explained that we can see Nemo at the pet store a block from our house, let's go look at the sharks, etc. To no avail. We had to find Nemo. Thank the Good Lord that Nemo and his daddy were there in the very last tank possible. Here we are looking at Nemo for about 20 minutes.

There were other items of interest that we passed by in our quest for Nemo. We enjoyed seeing the alligators, but Natalee would NOT turn her back to them to get a good picture, so here is the best we could do.

And we did pass by jellyfish, which were interesting because they were in the Nemo movie as well. She didn't understand that we can't bounce on their backs without hurting ourselves.

So after the aquarium, we headed back (in the car, again) to see Uncle Dennis and spend the night at their house.
